02What I promise you
I'll build your unit by hand and ship it within the target window shown at checkout, and I'll keep you honestly updated the whole way — including if something slips. If you ever want out before your unit ships, you get a full refund, no questions. And once it arrives, you have 30 days to return it for a complete refund if it isn't right for your home.
03What I'm honest with you about
This is a pre-production, hand-built unit — not a finished retail product. The frame and finish are still improving, and you may run into the occasional bug or rough edge. That's the nature of being first, and it's exactly why the run is capped at 20 people who want to help shape it. If you want a polished, off-the-shelf product, it's worth waiting for the retail release.
04The small thing I ask in return
The reason a founding cohort exists is to learn from real homes. So in exchange for founder pricing and early access, I ask that you:
- Actually put it to use — hang it, connect a calendar, and live with it for a few weeks.
- Share your honest reactions in two short check-ins: a ~20-minute call around week one and another around week four, plus one quick survey.
- Let me use your feedback (kept anonymous unless you say otherwise) to improve Almanac — and, only if you're genuinely happy, a short testimonial or a referral.
05Your data & privacy
Almanac connects to your calendar to show your events, and nothing more. Your calendar data is used only to render your display. You can disconnect and have your data deleted at any time. Full details live in the privacy policy, which you'll review before connecting any account.
